I've been dying my hair , like forever. Has been blonde. My hairdresser told me to go with a darker blonde, better for my hair...she says. I used dark blonde & came out dark brown. It looks awful, I hate it. How or what can I use to go back to blonde, even if it's not a very light blonde?
Wash it a few times in a row, it will lighten considerably. Then evaluate how dark you want to go, possibly get blonde highlights. It's hard to transition but a darker blonde does make you seem less washed out, imo.... That's the way I went and I'm loving it. I do have lots of highlights though.
