Well, I bet a guy would slap you on the rear once & never again!!(If you had that stuff in you, it gets pretty hard) In high school I was walking up the stairs when some guy slapped me on the behind, I turned around to clobber him when I saw him standing there wringing his hand. He looked at me & said,boy that hurt!! I told him lucky he didn't get my fist & next time you will. I did a lot of bike riding, swimming, ice skating & rowing so I was pretty tough for a girl. Some women are sure vain! Today Sharon Osborne said she made a mistake getting breast implants, she said,"It's like sleeping with a waterbed on your chest" I think she is getting them removed. Jan

Well, it's done! I went yesterday, expecting just a consultation, but the plastic surgeon, after consulting me on all the different products, results and his recommendations, was prepared to start immediately. I didn't expect this, but of course, that is what I'd hoped for, since he is only in this location once each month. He felt that a laser treatment would be most beneficial for my overall facial complexion and problems, as well as Restylane and Juvederm in certain target areas. I wasn't financially prepared to have the laser treatment as well as the injections, so he only did injections in those areas that bothered me the most, which was the upper lip area wrinkles, deep wrinkles in the corners of my mouth and nasolabial folds. They used a numbing cream and the doctor did a dental block, which made the whole procedure totally painless. He used Restylane with lidocaine, explaining that he could get more precise results with that other than Juvederm. It was a painless procedure, and once the dental block wore off I was mildly discomforted for the remainder of the day - sort of like after a bad day at the dentist, lol! The whole area was swollen and puffy yesterday, but appears to have settled down overnight and now only slightly swollen. My upper lip wrinkles were really bad, and at the corner of my mouth were really deep, so I'm thrilled with the results. I plan to go back and have the rest of the suggested work done as soon as I can.

Like any woman I am naturally interested in this topic. But as a person with a blood clotting disorder, I have to tell you that reading about these procedures and the bruising they cause makes my finger tips feel light and almost makes me sick because they could kill me. So while I envy those who can have procedures that make them look "well rested," there is none of it in my future. I will have to rely on sleep :-)
