Here I am. The brick wall represents my red hair, which seems to be what most people notice about me. It is now starting to fade, just like this brick. I wear a lot of boring basic neutrals that I can mix and match. I don't like to stand out, and everything in my closet seems to be either black, gray, blue, turquoise, brown, cream, or green. I like sweaters and jeans, and love shoes and especially boots. I am not a fitted/tailored/formal/tucked in type of person. I much prefer relaxed fits. The only patterns I typically wear are ethnic type prints. I do have a little bit of hippie still alive in me :-) The chandeliers and silver/gold items represent my jewelry. I have a fairly big collection of silver jewelry, especially bracelets; some gold; a few nice pieces like my tennis bracelet and anniversary bands. I have a huge weakness for ethnic and estate jewelry. I love turquoise, antique beads, silver from India, Tibet, Mexico, and Art Deco/Art Nouveau pieces. I also have a thing for handbags, mostly ones that I can't afford, but my current bag is the exact color of leather as the ottoman in my design. Love it!

What fun stuff! I am such a jewelry lover. I have a big 5 drawer chest of drawers I use as my jewelry armoir and it's STUFFED full. I've got vintage, contemporary, cheap costume, high end costume, and fine jewelry-I mix a lot of it up too. I wear multiples of pieces at a time, especially necklaces. If I'm wearing a lot of necklaces I don't wear other stuff, but if it's just a single pendant then Ill add some earrings and maybe a couple bracelets. Definitely a boho look, or a Chanel look, depending on my mood. I have some vintage pieces my mom gave me that she'd found in a mobile home they flipped-they belonged to the elderly woman who'd lived there before and her kids didn't want the stuff so she gave it to me. Some of it looks like that Coro you've posted up top. I'll need to check the brand. There were some with a fairly famous brand, still in the boxes-I can't recall the name now since I don't wear those pieces it's been a while since I've looked at them. I envision my granddaughter playing with my costume stuff one day, as I did with my Grandmothers. And I was lucky enough to be passed on some of my Great-Grandmother and my Grandmothers favorite pieces.

Yes, cawaps-- a fairly severe allergy to nickel. That said, in the past few years I have been able to wear some of the better silver/gold plated brands like Anna Beck, Monica Vinader and Sampkas (shared above). I originally bought some longer Sampkas pieces to wear with turtlenecks but as I got brave, i found i was able to wear them without issue for the duration of a work day. I cannot wear brass at all.. but I've had pretty good experiences with the better brand silver/gold plated pieces I've tried. Here's another that i just LOVE... it doesnt fit Ocotil's specified needs but i think the line is just gorgeous.. i have 4 necklaces currently and am THIS close to ordering the one below. The beads are all gemstones the gold is plated.
