Velcro rollers are not hot rollers, they are plastic rollers that will stay in your hair without pins. I don't know if one brand is better than another, but I doubt it. I get mine at a beauty supply store. There are different sizes and colors, and they last for-ever!

I am addicted but the no-pin thing is a joke in my fine, slippery hair, I use those long metal clips, at least two, to hold them in place. I apply a scant bit of gel (hairspray won't do a thing for my fine limp hair) roll it up, and then give it a heat blast from my drier. I let them sit in my hair while I apply makeup to cool completely. The only thing that gives my hair some volume without curls.

Smooth plastic rollers are better for your hair, no pulling and they hold the curl much longer, use roller clips or roller pins to secure them. Sally will have them.
