I use Crest Whitestrips. They work REALLY REALLY well but I buy mine from my dentist. They are a much higher strength than you can buy at the drug store. My dentist told me to quit wasting my money on that other stuff and try the professional strength Whitestrips, so I did. WOW! Made a huge difference and I am a coffee and soda drinker. The strips are pretty thin and do not ooze. Even if I do get some solution in my mouth due to saliva, it doesn't really have a taste at all. I put mine on in the shower where I am less likely to talk and move them around:) Sometimes they slip a bit, but they still cover the area they are supposed to, so no harm done. My dentist also told me NOT to use them on clean teeth otherwise they will definitely not stick. So, I put them on, take my shower, when my 30 minutes is up (and by the time I shower, dry, lotion it is time) I remove them and brush my teeth for the day. I love them! Good luck! Heidi

I've had an unsatisfactory experience with Dramatic Smiles. The package I ordered had one less syringe than advertised. Their only contact is email - no phone number. I've sent several emails and have received the same four(4) automatic responses: "Thank you for contacting Dramatic Smiles. We have received your message and will respond to it soon." Well "soon" has still not arrived. With an M.O. like this, they must exist on new business because they certainly are not cultivating repeat customers.

Baking soda/peroxide~make a paste. Do a treatment every night for the first month. After that, once a week since it *is* hard on the enamel. Advice was given to me by my dentist who did bone graft surgical procedure/dental implants on me several years ago. Not only does it whiten the teeth, but helps with the ph balance of bacteria, good/bad. Also get a hydrofloss! Mine was given to me by him(probably since I was spending buku bucks!) You'll only need to do 'on the spot' flossing if you get something in your teeth while eating!! You can use it every night, sometimes i'll add a little mouthwash. It's a fairly intense spray if you have it turned up all the way. Any loose crowns WILL come out, so do be aware and maybe have the drain closed. If you need another method for lightening teeth, here's one I did yesterday.....I zoomed in VERY close to the mouth in question; used the freehand selection tool to select JUST the teeth; promoted that selection to a layer; then played with the hue/saturation/lightness levels to get them looking white but natural; then I deselected, and used the soften tool around the edges. Finally, to redefine the tooth edges I used the push tool set on 1 just to push a bit of the white layer around to reshape the teeth. That step is optional. Another optional step is to adjust the opacity of the tooth layer just a tidbit. Then merge layers, & save.
