I am aslo a purse-oholic and have many sizes in my collection. All my smaller purses are for evening/special occasion only. It doesn't feel right to me carrying a little dainty purse for everyday to do my errands etc. I am picturing my late grandmother with her 4'11" rolly-poley stature and tiny top handle black leather which she carried everywhere! I prefer hobos and large top handles. I do have a small-ish cross body bag I use on class field trips, amusement park, outdoor activities etc. I love my big purses even though I am petite, but don't stuff them either. I usually carry my wallet, small make-up bag (lip-gloss, bronzer, perfume) phone, and whatever item I will need for the day's activity (water, wipes, camera, ipad, etc). I also have a bag insert/organizer that i keep my things in because I change bags so often. I just pull it out and switch!

THanks everyone. FOAS, the fondant is kind of fun to work with, as soon as I figured out how not to tear it or nick it or have it stick. It's kind of like playdough. Unfortunately, it kind of tastes that way too, all of it is just icky. Kids love it, though, all sugar and corn syrup. Nope, Jessica, no second career. I like to play with the cakes when I want to and make what I want to. I don't want some overbearing bridezilla all ticked off because the cake is 1/2 layer shorter than she envisioned, or the diva mother of some 16 year old demanding that I add or substract or fix some imaginary flaw. I just like to play with the fondant, bake the cakes and make the kids happy. I don't have the patience to actually do this for money, I only do it for friends and family. I dont even carry a purse. When I was in Michigan a few years ago I heard a lady call herself a pocket shopper. I guess thats what I am. My mother very seldom carried a purse. Last time when we were in Michigan my DH brought a purse in DD house and asked whose it was. It was one I out of my deceased DM things. I had takens it along but I never took it out of the trunk while we were there. He thought it was DDs. I remember a long time ago I had bought a purse probably at a thrift store and I walked into my in-laws house and my FIL said just think how much more money you would have if you hadn't bought that. I could never wear one with a shoulder strap. I used to very big busted and I even have a groove on my shoulder from my bra staps. The strap would never stay up on my shoulder though and still doesn't. That might be another reason I don't carry a purse.

I really need to get a new wallet because this one is falling apart,literally,,,but I am so sentimentally attached to it,,,I hate to give it up.... Years ago I did leather tooling as a hobby but I had gotten away from it for about 5 years until one of my ex's and I separated. When I caught her with another man and tossed her out on her backside. I was so pent up with anger that I needed a way to release it. Then I got the silly idea, I dug my leather tools out and got some leather, then I worked out my frustrations by pounding on that leather. By the time we settled the divorce I had made an extremely elaborate wallet, western belt and a new super heavy duty custom tool bag for work. It has now been amost 16 years and that poor wallet has seen better days, but every time I see it, it reminds me that I had the good sense to work out my anger constructively instead of fighting with her and getting into trouble.
