Painting a room, and compiling photo albums to celebrate our 20th anniversary 6. What is the color scheme of your kitchen? Espresso and gold. Tried to bring the outside inside. 7. As much as you love them, do your pets drive you insane at times? Yes, the dog always barks at the wildlife and must be let in and out to chase off deer. It is somewhat amusing, but a pain more often than not. 8. If you had only 2 colors to use inside your house, what would they be? If I were limited to two, I think I would just paint everything BM Linen White, and hang lots of art. 9. Have you been, or are you going skiiing this winter? Yes! My husband, myself, and our kids are avid and dare I say expert skiers. I will ski 18 days this season, at Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, Big Sky, Moonlight Basin, Vail, Wintergreen, and our all-time favorite, Alta. It's not a great snow year, but still a lot of fun. I love to hike to the peaks and chutes and ski down. List your TV watching guilty pleasures. It can be more than one show. We won't tell. :) 30-Rock and SNL. I rarely watch TV and often miss these.

My go to place is Loft. (Ann Taylor is good for business attire, which I really don't need.) I order most of my clothing online since the store has a very small petite department. After a while you get to know your size. I'm a medium in sweaters and tees but sometimes go down a size or two for a blouse. If you order $125, shipping is free. I usually return things I don't want to the store. This way I see what's there as well. If I have to reorder, I explain my disappointment, and most of the time I get the shipping for the replacement for free. It might pay for you to make a day of it and go to the closest large mall. Macy's, Lord and Taylor, Gap, Banana, JCrew, JJill, and all the others. Go with an open mind and try on everything!

Eld, maybe your niece uses Rent the Runway. I hear of people who have to go to formal events who rent a dress to wear. It makes perfect sense since these are often expensive items that you will only wear once or twice. the Stitch Fix quality is varied. Everything in my first box was very nice although one item didn’t fit and another was something I knew I would not wear. I love the cashmere sweater and it’s been very useful. The second box was much more TJ Maxx quality— cheaply made but also overpriced. I may give them one more chance in the spring and give more detail. My last trip to the mall was a nightmare. I dragged myself all over and finally found one pair of black pants. I got in line to pay. There were two people ahead of me. While I was waiting, another woman came up to the counter on the other side rather than getting in line. The salesperson insisted she had been there first. I was so tired and irritated I just shoved the pants at her and said she could keep the damn things — well maybe not quite that rude. So if I can get nice clothes delivered to the door, I am all for it. Now we are in the midst of freezing weather and snow but I have to get those clothes back in the mail within three days. At least they send a postage paid envelope.
