Inexpensive facial exfoliator sensitive skin

Would anyone be able to recommend a face/neck exfoliant for sensitive skin? I have purchased so many brands over the years that I wasn't able to use that I gave up, but I'm ready to try, try again. If you have any suggestions for inexpensive brands I'd be thrilled. TIA

I have rosacea and the only thing I can use to exfoliate is Olay Daily Facial cloths for sensitive skin. I have tried many things over the years and this is the only one that does not make my skin flare up. You just wet them and gently wash you face/neck using small circular motions. Rinse with plenty of cool or warm water and pat dry. These do a great job if your skin gets flaky. I generally use Cetaphil cleanser and exfoliate once a week with one of these cloths. If your skin is not that sensitive you could use them more often.

You can also try some baking soda mixed in with a facial cleanser, such as Cetaphil. This works pretty well and it's cheap!

My doc said to use the Cetaphil bar instead of the liquid. The bar, tepid (neither hot nor cold) water, and a microfiber washcloth used with a light touch works for me.

sensitive skin needs to be really careful about such things - some folks are sensitive to abrasion, and do better with exzymatic exfoliation. some folks are chemically sensitive, and some folks are both...

the gentlest thing you can use to loosen dead skin cells is plain yogurt and oatmeal (you can run it through the blender dry, or the coffee grinder to make the particles finer) - berries and pineapple are a bit stronger, and contain those 'fruit acids' people talk about...pineapple has enough of it that, raw, it will keep jello from setting. the strongest natural ones are mango and payaya - papain is a powerful 'debriding' enzyme, and is too strong for my face all by itself, I blend it with yogurt - but it does wonders on my elbows!

plain asprin is basically saliclic acid and baking soda, and a few drops of water makes one into a tiny little puddle of masque. stronger than that is the shampoo for psoriasis, which can be up to 3%... which is somewhere between the .5% of most face washes, and the 15% of a BHA peel.

Another vote for the aspirin mask.

Lemon juice and sugar is a great exfoliator for hands and feet, but it's a little too harsh to try it on your face.

olive oil and sugar

I have a cabinet full of masks and exfoliators. I have abandoned them for homemade aspirin exfoliator! I love it for my face, arms, and legs. I make a 12 ounce container with cheap uncoated aspirin, witch hazel, jojoba oil, and Cetaphil.

However, I think this would be too abrasive and strong for sensitive skin.

I was a little skeptical about the claims of this glove...boy, was I wrong. This little glove worked wonders on my skin. I have very dry skin that is hard to hydrate, after using the glove as instructed I noticed a large amount of dead/dry skin on the glove. When I applied my usual lotion, it absorbed much better, and my skin stayed hydrated all day. I also noticed my ingrown hair problem was much better too. I highly recommend this product, it really does what it says!! I know I will continue to use it.The glove is call Magic Peeling glove
