In updating this question it may not have been when this question was asked but I use this product and it most definitely has the OMRI label on the container. Further as a testament to its worthwhile. My black and blue which have come back overwinter were a bit of a lime green almost yellow. I started feeding this product in early morning when the stomata pores are open and after a couple of weeks of feeding at least once a week and they are now a much darker green. I should also add that most of the stomata are on the underside of leaves so concentration of the spray should be there. In reference to OMRI and a comparison to Alaska fish emulsion does not carry the listing and also their process involves heating the liquid which as anyone knows will kill many of needed nurtrients. Neptune does not use this process.

"Soil conditioners" are organic matter. Mulches are organic matter. The only real difference is in the labeling, and maybe the cost. Material sold as "soil conditioner" could be used for mulch, if the price is the same. kimmq is kimmsr

The simplest and best spray to use to control Aphids is simply plain water in a spray bottle.. You knock the wee buggers off the plant and they die before they can find their way back. Since Aphids reproduce abundantly some people that know no better think those knocked off the plant return. They do not but the next generation will move in so you repeat. If the "soap" used in your mix is Dawn it is not a soap and is not acceptable to an organic grower. The manufacturer does not call the product either a soap or a detergent but refers to it as a dish washing liquid and it is made from petroleum by products. That may be why the leaves are falling off your plant.

I bought Agra-Life Megamend a couple years ago when I built my raised vegetable beds. I couldn't find kelp in sufficient quantities and being volcanic rock I figured this would have all the minerals. Its a great product. My garden grew like crazy. I was going to buy more but Home Depot is out of stock right now 5-7-22 and I have not been able to find it at Tractor Supply, Farm and Home, Rural King, Ace Hdwr, or True Value Hdwr.
