I've tried everything out there and the ONLY thing that works for me (oily skin, contacts, tightlining) is Jordana felt tip eyeliner and it's $1.99 at walgreens. seriously, i was so happy to discover it and yet so mad that i've wasted so much money looking over the years (drugstore and high end ) and i have a whole drawer of old eyeliners that i'm now using for arts and crafts lol. also, my HG mascara is the loreal telescopic waterproof (in silver tube with blue writing). no smudging. of course to get all these no smudging products off is the neutrogena makeup remover (the one you have to shake before using), the generic brand of this works too.

I would try Dove soap and just wash it 2-3 times a day and see if it improves. If you want a little something more, I'd try a product with Salicylic acid in it and use that once or twice a day after washing with Dove. You can find one in your cleanser/acne aisle at the store. By the way, salicylic acid is in the aspirin family, so don't use if you have aspirin allergies. Whatever you end of trying, don't be discourage if at first you breakout. Often when you switch your cleansing/skin routines, you skin will break out... doesn't mean the products will always cause you breakouts, it's often just your skin adjusting. Don't know how old you are, but if you're older, I would also suggest a light moisurizer with sunblock for daywear.

I am 55 and have oil "gusher" skin, with a few lines under the eyes. I've fought oil and blemishes since age 13 and it wasn't until I started to treat my skin like sensitive skin that I had any success. First; HANDS off - no picking, popping, or squeezing. I use a blackhead extractor when needed. I use Mary Kay time wise 3-1 bar soap and an Old Vic washcloth (can be found at Vermont Country Store, Amazon, Caswell Massey on line) - squeaky clean and gently exfoliated. A blackhead clearing astringent (Avon Clear Skin) and then a primer: Smashbox Matte: just soaks up the oil. Makeup is Loreal's Mineral powder foundation over Dermablend concealer (I have old acne scars on my cheeks), loose powder, powder blush and I'm good to go for a few hours. I like Mary Kay blotting tissues ($5/75 tissues) and always blot first, apply a touch of Smashbox to my t-zone and powder lightly. I've found that after my morning make-up application at 6:30am I usually need touch ups at 10 - 12 and 2pm. Evenings I again wash after removing eye makeup with Mary Kay eye make up remover, astringent, and then a moisturizer/oil control lotion (Mary Kay or other brands). I also like to dab a bit of eye cream on in the evenings (I like Mary Kay or Anew by Avon). Hands get FREQUENT applications of Mary Kay Timewise hand/body lotion during the day and before bed I do cuticles with almond oil or olive oil, what ever I can pick up - I rub it in real well and apply a nice hand cream.

So the Vet has ruled out any medical problems. Then I would suspect she is having a problem processing something in her dog food. When a dog raids the hen house, it always easy to pick out the culprit by his shiny coat. So I would do the easiest thing and change her diet. Maybe put more fresh veggies/fruit in her diet. Lightly cooked carrots, etc with maybe some fresh pineapple for treats. Actually the enzymes in the pineapple may help to clear her system. Then if that didn't work I would change the flavor of the dog food. So go from say chicken to lamb. Give that some time, and if that didn't work then I would change brands. Look for something that changes the grains of the food. Say between barley and rice. Possibly she needs less calories(fat) since she is such a small dog and getting older. Unfortunately, her owner will have to make a small change and then give it time to work. Sorry, but not too much thinking outside the box.
