| Does anyone else out there have a problem with ingrown hair under their arms? I am asian so I have course dark brown hair, and am constantly having a problem with ingrown hairs under my arms. I also keloid easily, so after years of picking at a certain area I now have a strip of skin under my arm that is a constant problem. The skin has thickened in the area and multiple treatments of creams and steroid shots in the area haven't worked by my Dermatologist. Is laser surgery the next and only step? Would this be covered by insurance? HELP!? |

| Whether or not your insurance will cover this depends on how the treatment is described by your dermatologist. Sympathetic doctors who are dealing with seemingly intractable problems which might or might not be cosmetic know how to phrase their diagnoses. Good luck! |
