I live in manitoba where the winter temperatures go well below zero degrees celcius. can I still use my electric smoker outside?

Sure you can, but you'll likely have lots of problems getting it up to cooking temperature.

When I smoke outside in cold weather I put a large cardboard box over my Brinkman smoker.
