That Dreaded 'Wheat' Color

Posted by grillingator (My Page) on

I have had my MM grill for about a year now. Before using it originally, I did all the preliminary preparation that everyone suggested on the MM thread. Now, however, my stainless steel cover is the dreaded wheat color. I have tried cleaning it with a stainless steel cleaner I got at Home Depot, but the wheat is still there. Has anybody had any success with getting the stainless steel look back or does anybody have any suggestions for eliminating the wheat color. Thanks.

BTW, other than that, the grill is in great shape after a year of use, 2-3 times a week.

Thanks for the link. I'll try some of those suggestions.
