I just purchased a Discovery Series 4 Burner Barbecue Grill from BeefeaterBarbecues.com. The barbecue comes standard with cast iron cooking surfaces. Does anyone have any tips for correctly seasoning these types of surfaces?

Before and after every use, wipe them down with a towel with canola oil on it.

That's about all you have to do.
