Grill-n-Roast Barbecues

I'm looking for personal experiences with this brand of grill--I just purchased one from Lowe's on closeout, and the salespeople there hadn't sold very many.....Are they any good, or are most people swayed by more familiar brands that they carry such as Weber, Thermos, Char-Broil, Jenn-Air, Sunbeam, Aussie, Brinkman, etc.? It is a large beefy grill that looks like it ought to hold up for many years, but I've already had a problem--I put it together, cranked it up, and can't get it to raise the thermometer past the 250 F mark......I called their 1-800 number and talked with the friendliest and most helpful person (sales or service-oriented.....heck, maybe even moreso than family members!) I have ever encountered! I have new burner lines and a new thermometer on the way, and they should be here by Wednesday according to my "savior," at no cost. He and I then just gabbed for another 5-10 minutes and I was on my way to readying myself for my bargain grill.

My parts came in today and everything works great now! I heated the grill to 525 F for 20 minutes to burn off the "newness" and then seasoned the cast iron "grid" with one coating of PAM, then about six coatings of vegetable oil. Everything went well with the first batch of boneless chicken breasts!

I'm using the Weber grill which I bought online. So far, so good, everything's working the way it should be. Perfect steaks everytime!
