Help choosing BBQ--new to grilling

jyllebean

We are looking for a decent quality low-frills budget (ideally $200-300) BBQ. We have never owned a grill before. We just bought a new home with a free standings NG hookup that we plan to use. I would also like to have the option to use LP for emergency purposes. I'm thinking the best way to acheive this is to buy a LP BBQ that we can convert to NG. Does this sound ok?

A few I'm looking at:

Char Broil Quantum Infrared

Master Forge from Lowe's

Dyna Glo smart space from Walmart

Or maybe splurging for the Weber Spirit 210 from Home Depot, although this is a little more than I'd like to spend.

Any suggestions/tips? Does this way of using NG sound ok? Thanks.

Jill
