Try Steven Raichlen's "BBQ USA" it has 425 recipes, you can also watch him cook on "BBQ University". We have used a few of his suggestions, and have won our share of contests.

any opinions on the thrill of the grill (forget the author) or Cooks illustrated grill book? I'd love to get some more suggestions. Also Steve Raichlen's got several books - how do they compare? Thanks.

Raichlen's "How To Grill" is the one to start with if you're at all new to grilling. The Weber Big Book of Grilling is also excellent.
