Replacing Cooking Grids - Which Option?

I have a Vermont Castings Medallion NG grill that we've had for several years. The finish on the cooking grids is bubbled in some spots, completely gone in others, leaving a rust-like surface. Not what I'd like to be cooking on.

I'm not in love with the grill, but do want to replace the four cooking grids. The ones that appear to be a direct replacement are these, at around $55 a pop from various sources, including here: http://www.clagrills.com/allgrillparts/medallion/medallion-all-cooking -grids.htm

Then I found these, that appear to be the same size, at $27 each: http://www.grill-parts.com/medallion/gasgrillparts/medallion-cooking-g rids.htm

So, question is, is the gloss finish worth the extra $100 (for all 4)? Or would the matte finish suffice? Not thrilled with spending over $200 to fix up a grill.

Thanks.
