What do you cook in a Dutch oven?

My girlfriend gave me a Dutch oven for Christmas--one of those oval specked dark blue cookers with lid. I know it is handy for roasts, although I usually use the crock pot for roasts. What else do you cook in such a pan?

I suspect that what you have is not a Dutch oven but rather a roasting pan. A dutch oven is very heavy, cast iron or very heavy clad stuff.
The roaster is wonderful for roasting meats....try it, I bet you will like the results better than the crock pot...
And that roaster also works for making caramel corn!
