Need help quickly!: Subway tile spacing- 1/16" or 1/8"?

Hi all-
Tile install is starting tomorrow in our tiny (and only) bathroom. The walls will be 3x6 white glossy subway tile, and we chose a very light grey grout. So which size grout line would be best? My tile installer wanted to place them as close together as possible without using additional spacers, which would result in a very narrow grout line with unsanded grout- which I read on this forum can be a pain to clean. I liked the look of spacers putting the tiles about 1/8" apart which would require sanded grout. Also, we were planning to do tile wainscoting around the perimeter of the small bathroom. I'm wondering if the wider grout lines would break up the small space and make it look busy. Or if we should just do the narrower grout lines....ahhhh, so confused! And I have to make a decision tonight! HELP GW forum folks!
Many thanks!
