Caulking freestanding irregular bathtub against wall

I wonder if anyone knows what to do here:

I have a freestanding tub:http://www.reece.com.au/assets/products/780000/9502415/Clearwater-1600-Freestanding-Bath-9502415-tech-warranty.pdf

as you can see it is an irregular rectangle: no straight sides, so it does NOT sit flush with the wall on one long side, or the glass shower screen on a short side.

The question is, how on earth do I caulk the bottom of the tub in this situation (where the wall side of the bottom of the tub is very, very difficult to get to)? I have an idea: propping it a bit of wood, caulking one end, lowering that end, caulking the other, remove the bit of wood, patch the gap....

My plumber had no idea (doesn't do caulking!!!).

any ideas would be fantastic...thanks.
