Anyway, I have nothing to offer that would be of help. I would like to know what you have decided to do or other information you may have found out about this product.

I've been researching these for a while...Eagle appears to have better reviews than Ariel. Ariel users complain of poor service and parts falling off....impossible to find light bulbs and leaks. Both have the issue of cheap plumbing, expect to pay another $50o for braided plumbing lines and you'll have to silicone all ports and seals. Eagle has better instructions, but they are difficult to interpret as they were written by people whose native language was obviously not English. Eagle has better customer service from the manufacturer. A professional plumber rated these an 8/9 on a 1-10 scale of difficult installation, 10 being highest. So plan to pay a plumber for 1 1/2-2 days.
You'd have to be okay with the look and feel of the acrylic surround.
That said, I do think that these will be the hot new trend in bathroom remodels. IMO, if you plan to sell in 5 years then put one in. Ten years, do it for yourself but plan to renovate for resale, because this unit will look fairly shoddy in 10..

Unreliable and aesthetically debatable.
