First of all, how many tile projects have you done? Not the place to start a tiling career. What kind of tools do you own? Gotta have a tile saw and some knee pads and safety equipment. How much time do you have to have it out of commission? Better be measured in months!

What year was your house built? When was the last remodel and was it done properly then?

hollysprings, I've only done a couple, not very complicated. The MOTH, though, is very handy and between the two of us, I believe we could do it. I'd just like to hear from those who've done it. And, yes, we have another bath and shower, so we wouldn't be bathing in the sink.

jtl, the bathroom was remodeled in the late 80's and the tile went in then. I remember we were pinching pennies and the installers used tile they had left over from another job. It has held up very well; I just have never liked it. It was installed while I was working out of town and I had no part in choosing - or refusing.
