| giacomo, bellissima as usual :) A question: what is your opinion of the long-term viability/durability of the one-piece tempered glass coutertop/sinks? I'm concerned because I imagine that if it scratches or the undersurface is damaged, it's going to be visible and the entire counter has to be replaced. (There's also no overflow, which is a no-no for a family with kids or a house where kids might visit) Have you any long-term experience with these countertop/sinks? I really love the look and the ease of cleanup, but am concerned about the issues above...thanks! (And I'd like to know the make of the vanity as well -- and the wood it's made of -- is it veneer or solid?) |

Hi kitchenredo2, the drawers are fully extension with self-closing and blumotion. the company is Novalinea. flyleft I love glass! is a strong material and personaly I didn't try yet, but I'm pretty sure can handle the normal use of a countertop ..and of course scratches can happen on all materials. if you scratch granite will be less visible, but on the other side.. on the glass you can spill and doesn't absorb liquid. The sink in glass are not with overflow, but have a drain that doesn't close.. you need or the kid to know how to closed. the cabinet is gray veneer oak. |
