Shower tile install question

Our shower tile has a woven "texture" (actual bumps). How do those bumps get "filled" in the corners where the wall turns (in other words, where the straight edge of tile meets the bumpy edge)?

When thisetted in, you should be able to level it out....

I think you mean on the Face of the tile, right?

Grout or caulk.

Well, I have no idea what he did, but it looks great (not yet grouted or caulked)!

Wow--is that cool looking!!!!

The edges may be designed to interweave, which is really nice.

Thanks cat (in case anyone's interested, the tile is by Porcelanosa, called Ace Blanco).

Palimpsest, you must be right about the interweaving.

I looked at that tile the other day. It's so nice. Hope you like it.

It's nice to see photo posts of well-done tile installs, as we so often get photos of screw-ups. That alignment is great craftsmanship.

That is WAY cool, though the practical side of me is asking how in the world you'll keep it clean? Anyway, I would use a caulk, as it looks like this is not actually tile but is a shower board of some kind? There are so many choices in colored caulk, you may be able to find one to blend in nicely. Personally, I think I'd go a little darker, rather than lighter, just because it will give the appearance of more depth (and be easier to keep clean :)

Not sure what you mean by "not actually tile"? It's definitely tile,
just very large format - I think each tile is 12x30.

As for keeping it clean, well lucky for me I don't do my own cleaning :-), but actually, I think it doesn't look that hard - the tile is glossy and smooth.

We love the tile and hope it looks great when the floor tile (variegated grey stripes) is done!
