We are considering a bathroom remodel that would include a curbless shower. We don't currently need a shower bench, but since it could always be a necessity at some point I'd like to plan for it now.

Would a free standing bench work in a curbless shower? Or would the slope cause it to be wobbly? (If I can add a free standing bench later, I'm inclined to skip it now. But if that won't be possible, I'd like to plan an alternative now).
