| We're pretty close to purchasing two vanities online for a double bathroom renovation we're doing. The vanities we want come with a Carrara marble countertop - no other options. I think it's beautiful and I don't want to offend those that love marble, but I'm truly thinking marble isn't for us. I don't want to think about it staining or etching. Would you just install it as is and replace it later (if necessary) or would you just bite the bullet and replace it now. We have a granite picked out and the granite fabricator is confident they can get the old top off. I don't want to have to pay extra for new tops, but this forum has scared me from using marble...I just can't see it for the way my family uses their bathrooms. I've tried looking for another set of vanities, but I keep coming back to this particular style. |

| If you are not comfortable with marble, then change it out. Good luck with the remodel! |
