smaller vanity bolted to wall

We are going to have a smaller vanity installed in our bathroom. It is not as high as previous vanity.
The strap in the back that will be bolted to the tile wall is not as high as the other vanity, my bf said he could take it off & move it up higher so it will be bolted in the same place. Any reason why we couldn't just get another piece of wood & 2 L brackets & add another strap to the vanity higher up???
I just don't want to take this vanity apart & put it back together, we already are going to have to cut a hole in the bottom for the pipe to come thru from the floor to the sink.
Does this question make any sense at all??
Thanks for your help. It is one of those eruo style vanities, smaller version than this one (@24" wide)

| a bit of wood and 4 L brackets, 2 on each side to hold it securely.Be careful screwing the strap to the sides of the vanity, I don't know what yours is made of but sometimes its difficult to get a strong connection with modern materials ( ie wood dust and glue ) . |
