Walk in Shower Height

We are in the final days of framing on our new construction build and we have been asked by our framers how tall we want the ceiling to be in our walk in shower in our master bathroom. The ceiling height is currently 10' in the entire bathroom area. I'm assuming most people drop their ceiling down in their shower area, but maybe I'm wrong?? If you do drop the ceiling, would you lower it to 9'? 8'? Or some other height?

We went full height in our walk in - 10 foot. We have tile all the way to the ceiling and an exhaust fan in the shower. We should have put an exhaust fan outside the shower also.

I’m not the OP, but we dropped from 10’ to 8’ in our bath reno. Only above the shower. We wanted to capture steam, closed it all up with glass and a transom above door. We wanted it warm and steamy so dropping the ceiling and closing it up helped with that.
