| For my master bath I was planning on a marble basketweave floor, subway tiles, and a carrara marble paneled tub. This photo is my inspiration, though I'm putting a modern spin on things with faucetry, lighting, sink and accessories. The issue is the plumber/tub installer is saying there isn't enough room (thickness) for a marble panel to meet the lip of the tub and be flush. It would probably protrude by a 1/4" or so. Will that look terrible, and should I be considering other panel options (like tile) or should I just do the marble panel? It's a Duravit D-Code tub. |
