help us pick faucets!

Hi!

My DH and I really love the look of the Kohler IV Georges but it is way out of our budget:

Does anyone know of similar looking faucets? I have searched and found similar faucets (Danze Opulence and Delta Victorian) but the center spouts are really high.

Thanks in advance!

RE: help us pick faucets!

I was trying to decide between Danze, Moen, and Delta and chose Delta partly due to Delta's not-made-in-China manufacturing. Go to the Delta website and look at the Victorian line, there are several choices similar to your photo. The spec sheets (go to Product Info. tab and then choose "View" on the information you need) will tell you how high off the deck the spout is located.

I want a high spout due to my disabled husband sometimes washes his hair in the sink. I plan to choose the single hole faucet, which is 6.6 inches off the deck. The widespread faucets have a lower spout.

I spent days researching this choice and read many other forums where plumbers made comments about "which is better" Delta, Moen, etc. Most plumbers carry Delta and Moen spare parts on their truck. I want faucets that have very common parts in case of repairs down the line.

Delta has a section of their website with direct links to online vendors. There's also a section of the website where you can "save" your choices for easy reference in future visits. I have no connection whatsoever to the Delta company or any vendor.
