We are remodeling our bathroom and I love the look of a double slipper clawfoot tub however the ones I am looking at are only 27.5 inches wide. I am wondering if anyone has experience with these and if 27.5 inches is wide enough? Thanks!

There are many clawfoot tub manufacturers, Sign of the Crab, Sunrise Specialty, Barclay to name a few. A quick look at Sign of the Crab's double slipper spacs says overall width of 31.5" so shop around some if you're worried about size. Clawfoots seem to be semi standard in width however and most of the comfort is determined by overall length and your height.

I like the Max Versailles as it is higher and water can be up to the shoulder when you sit down.
