| We're redoing our bath and shower. If I plan to use Hydro Ban, should I also use cement board as the backing? Also, will there be a problem with the cultured marble sticking to the Hydro Ban? Didn't know if Hydro Ban was just for tile. Thank you! |

| If you are planning a cultured marble surround for your shower, why are you wasting money on Hydroban and cement board? It is the waterproof surface that you need. All that is needed is drywall and keeping up with the corner caulk between the panels. Some manufacturers do a inside corner molding now to be able to have that have a better seal. |
