Traditional can mean a lot of things. I needed a polished nickel faucet that wasn't too high because of the clearance for the medicine cabinet door.
This delacora comes in polished nickel and both the roman tub and sink faucets are around $275 and $250. There seemed to be much fewer options available across the board in the polished nickel.
Nickel (polished or brushed) tends to run a little higher than chrome and the nickel tends to spot more (imho) but I do love the look!
