 o
overmount or undermount sink to prevent splashes

I am trying to pick a sink for my daughter's bathroom. Wondering what will be convenient for face washing/ brushing for someone 4 to 5 ft tall. I want to mainly prevent splashes outside when washing face etc. Should I look for an undernmount or a overmount vessel sink with straight sides. The counter will be calacutta marble and the faucet is a simple single handle hansgrohe that is mounted on the counter

I would look at undermount. And, if she wants to wash her hair in the sink, make sure the sink is deep enough and the faucet high enough to do that...I stuck my head in many sinks before I was sure, as there are times I like to give it a quick do (I have very short hair).
