wainscoting in bathroom

I'm having a small bathroom remodeled. The existing tile will be removed, then wainscoting installed. Is it okay to install wainscoting in the bath/shower once the tile is removed?

Do you mean inside the bath/shower stall? The only wainscoting that would work in there is the ceramic tile kind. Wood would be a problem, as far as I know.

Yes, that's what I mean - and this would be the faux wood.

Unless you mean it's porcelain tile that looks like wood, there are no wood or fake wood products that are recommended for high water areas like inside shower stalls.
