Need Help with Vanity

Good morning. I need someone to help me understand. I feel like I am missing something but may very well just be overthinking things.

We are going to be remodeling the master bath in our home. Prior owner put two pedestal sinks in - looks ok but the lack of storage is totally a no go for us.

So I need either two smaller or one larger vanity. There are thousands of vanities out there but I don't understand the plumbing component.

How do I know what size to buy? Is it based on how far apart the two set of plumbing are? Is the plumbing itself flexible? Many of the vanities I have seen don't have detailed specs such that I can pin this down.

I feel like I am missing something here and would appreciate any advice.

Provide your overall measurements, and the centerline of the sinks from one of the side walls as it exists now. Like below. That will tell you a whole lot about what will fit in the space. A shot of the plumbing below decks will also help.

In this example, you could do the single 72" vanity with two sink bases and a drawer stack in between them. Or, you could do 2 30" vanities with space in between, as long as the plumbing below had two seperate drain, and isn't tied together to enter as one.
