Suggestions for discolored shower pan

Posted by jerseygirl_1 (My Page) on

Our shower pan is white and has discolored to yellow most likely due to my cleaning people using bleach cleaners. I have tried everything to get it white again and may have made it a little worse (if that was possible).

I really don't want to remove it since we have custom frameless shower enclosure, out tile is only 2 years old, and the expense is something we can't handle right now (too many other projects). There are companies that restore tubs and showers. I am not sure how long lasting their products are. Has anyone used this type of service? If so, can you share your experience?

Any suggestions on how the fix this issue would be appreciated.

I have reservations about really "cleaning" it to get back to the white.... The companies that do the re-finish generally use an epoxy powder coat and a shower pan should be pretty simple. They seem to work well and hold up well as long as you don't drop a really hard object on them.

I'm gonna guess that it should be around $2-250....

Thanks StoneTech. I will definitely start checking out different companies.
