| I am in the process for remodeling the bathroom because of the water leak. The contractor said they were going to use the wedi fundo shower system. Other contractors I got estimates said they would use the mud pan and PVC liner.
I decided to go with the contractor with the wedi for other reasons, but does the wedi have good reputation? I googled it but I could not find the review. Because I had water leak problem, I am really worried about the water damage problem in the future.I live in condo. Thank you. |

| Wedi is an excellent choice. Properly installed, it'll handle moisture better than a mud pan and PVC liner. I've never showered in a Wedi, but I have in a Schluter. Some people do report that the foam bases (Wedi's Fundo base, Schluter's Kerdi Tray, etc) can have a somewhat hollow sound when shower water hits the floor. I didn't notice it in the Schluter shower. |
