I saw at my local big box store the Sterling Ensemble back and side walls for about 50% off. Was wondering if anyone can tell me if the Ensemble walls can only work with the Ensemble shower receptor or any receptor of proper size? I already have my shower wall ripped down to the studs (bad tile job on drywall) and would like to keep my receptor to reduce unnecessary work.

Looking at install instructions online, I do see the walls have tabs on the bottom that's supposed to fit into slots on the receptor. Sort of weird to purposely put many holes at the bottom of the wall. I was thinking (hoping) maybe it's possible to install these walls on any receptor of proper size, perhaps with minor modification like grinding off the tabs or drill the slots on my receptor.
