Marble Fabrication Cost

We previously purchased a marble slab from a local place. We're ready to install it but our general contractor's fabrication subcontractor is quoting us a price that seems quite high to us. The specs are as follows:

Vanity = 6' x 22". We need cutouts for double sinks. The front and one side of the marble needing to be finished (the other side is up against a pony wall). We just want a simple miter cut edge.

Backsplash is 73" x 10

We also need a few small pieces for the top and side of a pony wall and the top of the shower curb. Those dimensions are 26" x 6.5", 35" x 6.5" and 40 x 6.5".

The fabricator is quoting us $2400 for all of this. The breakdown is $800 for the vanity plus $600 for the two sink cutouts. $300 for the backsplash, and $750 for the three pony wall/curb pieces. This seems to work out to about $122/sq. feet for fabrication and install. Are we right in thinking this is way too high?
