 o
anyone seen or used viscount white granite?

Just got a good price quote on some, but I've only seen a sample so far. I can, and will, choose a slab but curious whether anyone else has seen or used it.

I am in love with carrara marble but I don't think it would be a good fit for us.

It's technically a "paragneiss", which consists of quartz and feldspars with admixtures of other minerals ... it would probably be less susceptible to etching and staining than marble.

It looks like a really 'veiny' gray and white marble, but with coarser coloration grains - interesting

Do you have a sense of whether it's considered "good" or "cheap"?

I would also love anyone's advice on the viscount white granite for a bathroom countertop. We found a remnant piece at a nearby stoneyard for a good price, but I'm having trouble finding anyone who has used it and can comment on staining, for example. Does anyone have any experience using this granite? Our other option is Kashmir White. Thank you!
