What type of tile is this?

I have this picture saved on my computer but I have no idea what type of tile it is. Can anyone tell me what it is and if it can be used in a bathroom?

There are many similar tiles in many price ranges - it's a grey 6x12 or other "brick" shaped tile.

Whether a tile is suitable for a bathroom or not depends on several things:

1 - Slipperiness ... needs to be skid-proof if it's on the floor

2 - water resistance (needs to be suitable for wet areas

3 - stain resistance (you decide if you are willing to risk marble in the kids' bath)

RE: What type of tile is this?

Looks like the tile has texture to it which would be good for a bathroom. But the pic is so grainy that its hard to identify it specifically. Even hard to tell if it is 6 x 12 or a larger format. I would go for larger format if possible - less grout lines. What look are you going for?

Thanks for the responses! I've been doing a lot of searching and wondered if it maybe it was limestone? I recall it was in a design magazine in bathroom and was brick size.
I'd like something that look sgrayish like this. Maybe there are porcelain replicas since I recall reading Limestone actally isn't good in a bathroom?
