I have a Toto Acquia wall mounted. I did the bathroom remodel myself. IMO you really need a 2x6 wall.

Thank you Geoffrey! I am trying to understand which of the two is better as quality and easy to install. My house is an old 1953 house and not sure what I need to check before deciding on a wall mounted toilet. The wall that I want to put the new toilet is the wall on the back on the toilet of my other bathroom.

A wall mounted toilet is not easy to install. You have to rip out the wall. If you are not remodeling your bathroom, then it's not for you.

I don't think it will work with your back to back toilet situation. The 3" waste pipe is only supplied with a 90 degree angle.

If you would google the two toilets - you will find a lot of negative reviews of the Duravit - I myself have no opinion.

Both are excellent, but you'll have to ask your contractor and plumber if your bathroom configuration can handle it. Why do you specifically want a wall-mount? If you can't have an in-wall carrier but you like the look, you can get a wall-mount toilet with a Geberit Monolith carrier for the same look.

Hi Yael_d, thank you for the great suggestion and the pic of the Monolith! It's not the look - I'd like the space to look bigger ( please see my plan - it's 5x9 small bathroom - not deep but wide ( 9 ) and cleaning is probably better with a wall mount.
