| Hi folks. We have to settle on a shower enclosure in the next few days and would like any input someone may have for us.
This is an alcove type shower that will be in a bath that will serve as a "master" bath for the next 4-5 years. After that time, it will be a guest bath, which should only get use 4-5 weekends per year. That said, we are not interested in the expense and time required to have a tile or solid surface shower. Properly installed (meaning on a bed) will a gelcoat fiberglass 1-piece unit be sufficient? Why/Why Not? As the shower can not be any deeper than 33-1/2", there seems to be a limited number of manufacturers from which to chose. Clarion Bathware seems to offer one, as does Aker by Maax. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks for any help |
