Having a cabinet made for a bathroom. The fabricator is suggesting LACQUER paint. Questions:

Is it durable (lots of water splashing)?
Can it be repainted with regular paint eventually?
What is the MOST DURABLE paint for a bathroom cabinet?

RE: Lacquer Vanity Cabinet

Lacquer is not paint.

Lacquer normally means nitrocellulose lacquer.

It is only moderately water resistant.

Varnish or polyurethane would be better options.
