 o
basic question about tile---bullnose

Posted by SeeBuyFly (My Page) on

Hi...remodeling bathroom and would like to use subway tile (nothing else works) with a decorative strip in the middle. My rather elementary question is that the tiled area does end in the middle of a wall and so bullnose is needed. However, the decorative strip also ends at that egde and it doesn't come with a bullnose version. What does one do in that situation?

many thanks,

could you do something like this:

Or just end the pencil before the bullnose is placed on the wall.

You can have the pencil liner end at the bullnose, like this:

I had the same question/situation. My tiler did something with the pencil liners to form a bullnose edge - I can snap a pic of it if you want and try to find out from him just how he did it.
