| So the basement is finally down and now onto the next project, the bathroom which got delayed to to flood and full-on basement renov.
I'm starting the homework on the best porceling marble looklikes - large format 12x24 or so. I've seen some pics on the web and def plan to go this route. Love the look of marble - but it's a soft very *maintainece requirement* . |

| Porcelanosa has some marble lookalikes. |

| Take a look at Bedrosians.com; they have a Tilecrest Cararra, which comes in Calacatta and Statuary. They also have a more expensive Marmi Calacatta. I was very impressed by both - and thank goodness since I missed out on the now-unavailable Daltile Navelli Carrara Star (a tile I picked out a month ago but didn't order because I was still futzing with my floorplan.) Iris USA has a product called Marmi that is also a really nice lookalike. |
