What wood is it made from?

Acacia. Not ideal, but it'll work and shouldn't affect the marble.

Looks great. Does teak stain marble?

Is your squeegee hook screwed into the marble or suctioned?

Supposedly not if its just oiled. The squeegee is suctioned on and has only fallen down twice and needed to be resuctioned in 1.5 years.
