I like how the gray grout on subways give subtle emphasis to the brick pattern. I did my floor with a darker gray, different from the walls, and I almost regret it. I believe I'd have been just as happy with the same light gray as the wall tile (delorean gray).

6 of one, 1/2 dozen of the other. This is one only you can really answer! If that's the look you like, then go for it!! You'll find several who've gone each way, and either one looks nice. :-)

Here's mine, in progress. This is Misty Gray. These tiles are a creamy white crackle finish. In my kids' bath I did regular white subway & hex with French Gray, a deeper blue gray and I love that too.
